Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 1 is an excellent continuation of the equally impressive The Clone Wars animated film. Each episode contains the same attention to detail, and superb CGI animation as did the film. Production is top notch (being a production of Lucasfilm it should come as no surprise). The story lines make for great additions to the Star Wars universe. These would make a great live action film if strung together (a pity as there are some great battle sequences as good as the motion picture films) however the space battle CGI sometimes makes you forget you are watching a cartoon (err … animated series), at least until a character steps in. One of only a tiny handle of animated shows I would go to the trouble of watching: 3.5 stars.
